I love my brother to death and I respect him so much. He’s incredibly talented and I would love to collaborate with him… But I’ve been trying to distance myself and show people that I’m my own person despite us looking similar and having similar mannerisms. I don’t want to be referred to as “James Franco’s little brother” for the rest of my life.

I knew that in my video for Video Games I wanted to feature different clips of the Chateau because it was one of the most beautiful places that we’ve seen in Hollywood. I feel like all the choices I made were really personal choices, I was guided by my intuition. I just picked things that I thought it was beautiful, and timeless. Like the modern day actress that I put in the video. And the skaters, I like them because we used to skate in NY and it just reminds me back when things were pretty easy and pretty simple. It resignated with me because when I wrote the song for video games it was one of my happiest times, and I felt like the kids skating, and the kids by the swimming pool, you really felt like they were just living for the moment. It was very young, and I missed that.
